Warren County Pistol License Safety Class
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel our April, May, and June classes. This has left us with a considerable backlog of local citizens needing our safety class in support of their NYS pistol license application. To address this backlog and the current high demand for a license, we have decided to offer a number of additional safety classes to our calendar, as follows:
- Tuesday July 14 – 7pm to 10pm
- Thursday July 16 – 1pm to 4pm
- Tuesday July 21 – 7pm to 10pm
- Thursday July 23 – 1pm to 4pm
These four classes will be held at Dunham’s Bay Fish & Game Club 2080 Ridge Road – Queensbury, NY 12804
(2.8 miles north of Route 149)
We are well aware of safety concerns that folks have during these difficult pandemic times.
We will implement a number of enhanced safety practices in order to protect our instructors and students/ applicants in these classes. For example, each class will be limited to 12 students/ applicants. (We normally have up to 25 students/ applicants in a class). Upon entering our training facility, everyone will be given a squirt(s) of hand sanitizer and will be screened for fever with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer. Everyone will complete a COVID-19 health screening questionnaire. Folks failing these screens will not be admitted to the class. Everyone will be required to wear a face mask throughout the training (no exceptions), and nitrile gloves will be provided and worn when handling our replica firearms. We will maintain social distancing throughout the class by seating and spacing participants well apart from each other in our large training room. All touchable surfaces and equipment in the training room will be thoroughly treated with an EPA-recommended disinfectant both before and after each class. While there are no guarantees during this difficult time, we intend to do the best we can to protect your safety while you take our pistol license class. If you have any specific questions or concerns about our procedures, please feel free to contact us by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
You can register and pay for a class online at our website: www.safet-course.com As always, our class is only $35
And, for sure, our class is also accepted by the Washington County pistol licensing authorities.
Southern Adirondack Firearms Education and Training, Inc. (SAFE-T, Inc.) is a 501©(3) non-profit corporation created solely for the purpose of providing firearm safety instruction to local applicants for a New York State pistol license. That’s all we do. We have been the premier provider of pistol safety instruction in Warren County since 1975. That’s 45+ years of training over 8,000 applicants… and counting. We must be doing something right. Warren County requires that you complete a pistol safety course before a license can be issued. Our course satisfies that requirement. Washington County also accepts our course to meet their training requirement.
